Our Masters session is outdoors on the 3g pitch at Harton Academy. The coach for the session is Josh Holmes
The session is ideal for children that are looking for some extra training or just starting out.. This session has a maximum capacity of 18 children.
The main focus of this session is fun and allowing the children to express themselves and gain confidence More touches on the ball lead to faster and greater skill gain.
The sessions is split into 3 parts
Section 1: Ball mastery to maximise number of touches of the ball and finished off with King or Queen of the ring roughly 12-15 minutes.
Section 2 : Main part of the session depending what the focus is for the block 15-20 mins
Section 3 Game time for the children playing 5v5 or 3v3 games
Our sessions are designed for maximum touches of the ball. The games are progressively challenging enabling new skills to be learnt each session, however children are able to work within their ability and split into groups based on size, age and ability .
Children become more competitive at this age and are taught to challenge themselves and one another. The session can lead into play for a team for Harton and Westoe juniors.
