A girls-only place to learn, make friends, build confidence and fall in love with football!
We're delighted to offer our dedicated girls-only Mini Miners sessions for Reception and Year 1, giving young girls the perfect environment to take their first steps into football.
Whether your child has never kicked a football before or already loves playing and wants to develop her skills, she'll be welcomed into a fun, friendly and positive environment where she can learn at her own pace.
Two Groups – The Right Challenge for Every Girl 🌟
We understand that children of the same age can be at very different stages of their football journey.
That's why our sessions are split into two groups:
⚽ Developing Players – for girls who already have some football experience and are ready for more challenging activities and games.
🌱 New & Beginner Players – for girls who are just starting out, allowing them to learn the fundamentals, grow in confidence and enjoy football without pressure.
With two dedicated and experienced coaches at every session, we can make sure each child receives the right level of support and challenge.

From Mini Miners to Their First Team
As girls develop, there is also a clear pathway into team football.
From around 6 years old, players may have the opportunity to progress into one of our girls' teams or mixed grassroots teams, subject to availability and teams forming.
For some girls, this could be their very first experience of football. For others, it could be the beginning of a journey they continue for many years.
